Marketing Administrator [South Africa]


 

Seeking a graduate to take part in a 12 month program as part of the Yes 4 Youth Initiative. Candidate would be based at an NGO in Illovo and will focus on co-ordinating and executing marketing activities. Candidate must be:

  • Proficient with programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Have basic knowledge of Marketing principals & platforms.
  • Proficient in English.
  • They must have a valid driver’s license.

Description of Duties:

  • Assist with the collation of information.
  • Maintaining the marketing department’s documentation (monthly spend record, events calendar, advertising files, procurement file, sponsorship files).
  • Obtain quotations and submit for approval to Marketing manager.
  • Prepare document packs to submit for signature to Marketing manager.
  • Liaise with service providers.
  • Administer applications for new vendor agreements and registrations.
  • Administer sponsorship administration.
  • Maintain up to date archives of all marketing files.
  • Assist with content management upkeep including shared drives and content libraries.
  • Advertising Administration.
  • Coordinate production of marketing materials, literature, branded items.
  • Book relevant adverts according to schedules signed off by marketing manager (print, radio, social media).
  • Assist with creatives according to CI and obtain relevant approvals.
  • Obtain & compile monthly/Quarterly reports.
  • Marketing & Events.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for all marketing events, product launches and exhibitions.
  • Carry out other related tasks as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship, Graduate
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: R5,000.00 per month
