At Henning Larsen, we consider sustainability a design driver, working to ensure that all project phases are qualified in terms of sustainability.
If you are interested in our design with knowledge philosophy and wish to be part of our R&D team, we invite you to join us for a 6-12 month internship. You will be part of a dynamic and dedicated group of architects, urban planners, landscape architects, computational designers, anthropologists, and sustainability engineers working on the development of esteemed international projects and competitions.
We are looking for an Intern who wants to work with sustainability and Life Cycle Assessments on Henning Larsen projects. If you have prior experience with LCAbyg or One-Click LCA it is a plus.
You will work within the following focus areas:
- LCA calculations buildings and building components
- Material knowledge exploration, through meetings with manufacturers and EPD-data.
About you:
You are currently a student enrolled in a relevant education program, preferably in your graduate studies, or have completed at least two years of your undergraduate program.
You’re motivated to learn and develop your skills. You thrive in dynamic and energetic work environments.
Your communicative skills of results are good. That said we will teach you how to develop these skills further.
We welcome applicants of all nationalities, but given the international character of our studio, candidates must be fluent in English. Danish is a plus.
Applicants must be enrolled during the entire internship and the internship must be part of your studies.
What can you expect from the internship?
We offer intern positions for 6-12 months in our Copenhagen office, with the opportunity for extension. You will be part of a curious and multidisciplinary department, where architecture and engineering work together to develop sustainable cities and buildings.
Henning Larsen is a dynamic, international studio where you, as an intern, will get the opportunity to work with sustainable design in international projects and competitions. The goal is for you to develop competencies within a variety of fields and be able to work independently with LCA calculations and communications of the results to our design teams. While still gaining an in-depth understanding of how we design with knowledge in practice.
