Google Anthos Platform Support [Egypt]


 

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and configuration of new Google Anthos clusters (all environments), validation of the installation and sanity tests to confirm that the platform is ready for usage.
  • Validation of the Anthos platform configurations at a functional/integration level to ensure readiness. Strong collaboration with SAB internal teams for compute resource dimensioning and provisioning.
  • Providing services for application onboarding starting from capacity assessment to application deployment and go-live / post go-live (complete lifecycle) support on Anthos.
  • Platform & cluster management and provisioning activity: Kubernetes Cluster administration and management (namespace, service mesh, quota, Scalability, IAM, policy, Pod Networking, Service Routing, State Probes, Monitoring, Backups, Alerting, Logging & Analysis and change as per SABs ITIL policy).
  • Platform Support for Deployment: Maintaining Platform Deployment Pipeline, extending support to Application Deployment pipeline.
  • Standard platform patching, security patching, ensuring compliance.
  • Provide support to Development / Application team during release management, DevOps pipeline and DR drills.
  • Review of logs to identify Root Cause Analysis and Carry out dump analysis if required.
  • Support in Business Continuity / Disaster Management drills.
  • Support SAB with troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to the DevOps pipeline.
  • Creation of new Kubernetes clusters (as required in line with provided design requirements).
  • Providing continuous platform automation.
  • Continuous integration with SAB ecosystem tools such as security, monitoring etc.
  • Integrate Anthos with public cloud to support hybrid-cloud architecture.
  • Troubleshooting support issues & performance by coordinating with SAB Infrastructure team for any underlying infrastructure issues (VM, OS, Storage, Network or Backup).
  • Incident Alerting , Troubleshooting and resolution (Ticket/Incident Handling, Auto/user generated tickets & Implement standard changes.
  • Timely escalation and followup with Google in case of bug/product related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of computer engineering or any relevant studies.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Google Anthos.
  • Outstanding English communication, both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Effective communication skills and able to relay information well in both written and verbal form.
  • Good interpersonal interaction and able to work well with the team and Client stakeholders.
