Function

To support us in continuously growing our organisation, 3E is looking for an HR Assistant with a knack for administrative work and, in term, recruitment and onboarding. You read it well, this is a role that offers growth perspective depending on your skills and desires!

You will work closely together with two HR Officers and report to the HR Director. We would love for you to bring your vibrant personality and your own progressive ideas! Your focus will be on:

  • HR administration (60% of your time):
        • Administrative onboarding of new employees: setting them up in all relevant systems, preparing contracts, taking care of work permit procedures etc.
        • Offboarding administration
        • Learning & Development: training subsidy administration, planning, surveys, hour registration
        • Project support: information gathering and summarizing, briefing internal stakeholders and supporting in decision-making
  • Recruitment (30%):
        • Support in recruitment administration: publishing jobs online, planning meetings and interviews/written assessments
        • Screening of incoming CV's
        • Support/take the lead in proactive recruitment activities: scouting for job fairs and taking up their organisation, setting up long-term partnerships with schools
        • Take ownership in recruitment of trainees and interns, moving towards a more proactive approach
        • Later on, take more ownership in recruitment of employees
  • Process improvement (10%):
        • Create/update policies, procedures and presentations in line with our day-to-day activities.
        • Support in migration towards a new HR tool

Profile

To join our small but fun HR team we are looking for someone who learns quickly and is ready to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibility, autonomy and freedom to execute your tasks are given right off the bat, and in return you will get quick wins and recognition.

We are looking for the following soft skills, that will be paramount to successfully grow in this role:

  • Communication skills: you will be in contact with all layers of our company so many internal, but also external stakeholders to keep informed.
  • Organisation skills: who says HR, says organisation. You will be on top of planning, tracking, documenting,…
  • Team player: we find it important to stay in touch, share the workload and stay on top of our game - together.
  • Proactivity: you don't hesitate to get informed about things you don't know yet, you can detect urgencies and prioritise your workload and ask for help in time when things get complicated
  • Flexibility: our environment being one of a kind, things change around here from time to time, meaning we embrace or even accommodate those changes

Furthermore:

  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree
  • You are fluent in English and French or Dutch, spoken as well as written (working language is English).
  • You can work with Microsoft 365
  • Any experience in HR administration, recruitment or other is welcomed!
