Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.
The Opportunity
The MAPU at Palmerston North Hospital has recently moved into our new building and expanding its Health Care Assistant team.
MAPU have part time permanent positions available working rostered and rotating shifts predominately night duty. Actual hours of work will be negotiated with the successful applicant/s and this can be discussed at the time of the interview.

The role of the HCA is to assist Regulated Clinical Health Professionals in providing care which is safe, economic and of the highest quality possible and to provide a high standard of environmental cleanliness and to assist with non-nursing duties associated with patient care.
If you are able to work with a wide range of people, have a strongly developed customer focus, are highly organised and have a professional presentation, then we want you to join our friendly, dynamic team.
You don't need to have any qualifications and full training will be given for successful applicant/s.
