JOB CONTENT
As an Application Management Specialist, you have a versatile and responsible job. You will be part of a DevOps team and will be responsible for managing the Breeding applications and translating stakeholders' requirements into working software applications. The breeding applications are used to record, monitor, and optimize the breeding processes of our vegetable crops.
Breeding is a scientific and systematic process of developing new and improved vegetable varieties through controlled cross-breeding and selection. The goal of vegetable breeding is to create plants with desirable traits such as improved yield, disease resistance, enhanced flavor, nutritional value, and adaptability to specific growing conditions. You translate user requirements on breeding processes and data into applicable functionalities within the capabilities of the standard applications. This position covers the end-to-end process of gathering user requirements till technical realization and implementation of the software and interfacing with other systems. Effective communication and collaboration with (international) colleagues is essential. Since direct user contact is crucial, you will visit several locations abroad each year.
As an Application Management Specialist, you work in a team of approximately 20 colleagues who work in several devops teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or Information Management.
- Work experience as an Application Manager or consultant.
- Experience working according to the Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to travel an average of 4 times per year to our international locations.
